1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the NOOR Biomedical Education Platform ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this Platform.

The materials contained on this Platform are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

2. Service Description

NOOR is a comprehensive biomedical education platform that provides:

• Structured study plans for biomedical sciences
• Access to educational PDF resources (textbooks, research papers, protocols)
• Research and bioinformatics tools
• Progress tracking and learning analytics
• Community features for collaboration

All services are provided free of charge for educational and research purposes.

3. Registration and Account Security

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Platform, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

• Contain defamatory, obscene, or unlawful material
• Include malicious code or viruses
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

5. Prohibited Activities

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or to the Platform's systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers connected to the Platform
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Platform without permission

6.2 Educational Resources

PDF resources, textbooks, and research papers available on the Platform are provided for educational purposes only. Users must respect the intellectual property rights of the original authors and publishers.

6.3 Trademarks

The NOOR name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of NOOR or its affiliates. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission.

7. Third-Party Content and Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by NOOR. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

You acknowledge and agree that NOOR shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. NOOR makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Platform or the information, content, or materials included thereon.

To the full extent permissible by applicable law, NOOR disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall NOOR, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Platform
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Platform
• Any content obtained from the Platform
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NOOR and its licensees and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of:

• Your use and access of the Platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

By continuing to access or use our Platform after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the International Biomedical Education Consortium, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
